David was born in England in 1958, his family wanted to achieve a happier life for themselves in Canada, so they decided to immigrate to Vancouver in 1966. Even as a child David was always aware of fashion, trends, and payed an especial attention to hairstyles, realizing that they play a large role in making people look their best. Working for Jim Rattee for 26 years at Rattee Hairstyling(which is now the Velvet Lounge), you might say David knows a thing or two about men's hairstyling. Now starting a new chapter in his hairstyling carrier, we are stoked to have him as a pivotal member of the Velvet Lounge Team
